They’ve not long been out up here and haven’t seen a single one on the road yet.
The earlier Rapid was a rebadged SEAT Toledo, a stop gap to fill between the Skoda Fabia and the Octavia, that nobody really asked for (but bought because they were cheap) and even Skoda didn’t want them but VW said to have it.
The SEAT Toledo is now dead and Skoda now have a proper gap filler and a proper Ford Focus, VW Golf and SEAT Leon rival.
I lik e the new Skoda Octavia,
And the new 197bhp diesel Octavia vRS and 242bhp petrol Octavia vRS.
The diesel is auto only.
